The competition, organized by the ASD Arcieri Black Phoenix in collaboration with the Fitarco Calabria Regional Committee, will take place Sunday 12 June 2022, at the municipal stadium “Ninetto Muscolo” of Roccella Jonica (RC) in Viale degli Ulivi, 14.
The archers, coming from all over the region, will compete for the conquest of the class title as well as the absolute one, decreeing the 2022 individual and team Regional Champion of Outdoor Targa Shooting.
The event will start at ore 9.00.
The municipal councilor with responsibility for Sport and member of the technical table for tourism of the Municipality of Roccella, Domenico Cartolano, expresses great satisfaction for the choice of the Ionian town as the venue for the sporting competition: “The regional archery championship represents a ‘further opportunity to promote our city, useful for seasonally adjusting the presence in the municipal and Locrid area. Archery, in fact, is an Olympic discipline capable of conveying, like other sports, quality sports tourism and we are honored that the choice of the competent bodies has fallen on Roccella ”.
“I am sure – concludes Cartolano – that the town, as usual, will be able to give an extraordinary welcome to the athletes, technicians and enthusiasts of the discipline who will arrive from all the Calabrian provinces and it will be nice to know that future winners will be able to affirm, at end of the competition: ‘We won the regional title in Roccella Jonica’ ”.
