Anderson Cotón (Judo Club Arteixo) finished in seventh place in his participation in the European Youth Olympic Festival (FOJE), which is taking place in Banska Bystrica (Slovakia). A thin line separated the Coruñés from having obtained a major prize in the event because he yielded in the gold technique of the second round with which he would later be proclaimed champion of the 60 kilos category; and in the playoff to qualify for the podium he fell again in extra time with which he would later collect the bronze. Another great experience with which to continue growing as a judoka for Cotón in a season in which he has had many international appointments.
