A boy asked for a basketball court and Campazzo helped him fulfill his dream « Diario La Capital de Mar del Plata

Mateo Bianchotti Cattaneoa boy from 11 years of San Francisco, Córdoba, asked the Neighborhood Center of the José Hernández neighborhood to build a basketball court. A Cordovan journalist published the letter on social networks and Facundo Campazzo took up the challenge: “What if we make it happen?”

“My name is Mateo, I am 11 years old and I live in the José Hernández neighborhood. My greatest wish is to have a playground with basketball hoops to play with my teammates. We currently play basketball with them in a club and we would like to practice in free time. We have several free spaces where a place to play basketball could be made, for example, in the neighborhood squares or on the grounds of the Neighborhood Center. I thank you for your attention in receiving my proposal. My regards,” said the child’s writing.

The truth is that the tweet of the former Peñarol player from this city went viral: it had 28 thousand likes in less than 24 hours. But, beyond that, the important thing was that the mayor of San Francisco, Damián Bernarte, agreed to the request.

“I found out and I was very moved by everything that happened. Hopefully Campazzo can come when they open it. He is an idol for me”slipped Mateo in a contact with La Voz del Interior.

It must be remembered that Campazzo is looking for a club in the NBA after his recent experience in Denver.
