The New York Yankees have shown themselves to be one of the most dominant teams in recent history. They currently have a 59-23 record, which is the best record in all of baseball. They are also in first place by a wide margin in the American League East, 14 games ahead of the second-placed Boston Red Sox. If they can keep this up, the Yankees will easily end this season with the best record in baseball.
The New York Yankees have one of the most diverse teams baseball has ever seen. They have the strongest offense in MLB and lead the league in home runs and OPS. They have the lowest team ERA on the mound, and pitchers have stepped up in key situations.
However, the New York Yankees are not perfect. They have a few gaps in their list to fill at the close. One in particular is in the outfield. Players like Joey Gallo and Aaron Hicks have been well underperforming this season. The Yankees need a third outfielder to add to Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton.

Laureano is also a free agent after this season, so there are no strings attached for New York. If the Yankees are willing to give up a prospect, Laureano would be a great addition to the outfield.

Because Reynolds is quite young, he has a high commercial value. The Yankees would most likely have to trade one of their best candidates to Pittsburgh. Also, he would be tied down in New York for the foreseeable future. If the New York Yankees want a third fielder for the next few seasons, Bryan Reynolds is definitely their man.

His touch would contrast well with New York’s punchy lineup. His contract situation is also varied. If the Yankees want, they can use him on loan or keep him after this season. If the New York Yankees want to fill the hole in the outfield, Benintendi would be their best option.
