We are sure there will be a lot of news about NBA 2K23 soon, but we have some things we would like to see changed in MyWNBA.

From game modes like The W to the actual MyWNBA mode itself, there are a few things that could be changed.

5 things we want in MyWNBA

For those of you unfamiliar, MyWNBA is essentially the WNBA side of NBA 2K23. While it hasn’t been released yet, we hope it will get more attention this time around.

Last year there wasn’t much apart from The W in terms of originality. You were able to create a MyPLAYER and go online in The W Online as well.

Here is our list of 5 things we want to see in MyWNBA:

• A MyTEAM mode for MyWNBA:
  • Currently, there are three main game modes within MyWNBA (The W, MyWNBA and Quick Play). Introducing a fourth where you can build your team and compete online would certainly spark interest
• Frequent updates:
  • This is something NBA 2K23 can easily do to keep players interested. A few updates earlier in the year won’t help in the long run. However, a consistent update schedule will do.
• Cross over con The W & The City:
  • Looking to bring your MyPLAYER from The W into The City? You should be capable of. Sure, the build might not transfer well, but it could pose a fun challenge.
• Speaking of challenges:
  • NBA 2K23 needs to give players one more reason to actually play this game mode. Having MyWNBA as an option doesn’t mean much if there’s no incentive to play it.
• Earning XP and Rewards:
  • A great way to engage players in MyWNBA would be to offer rewards for other game modes. Want to earn double XP in The City? Complete a task in MyWNBA to get one.

With just these small tweaks, MyWNBA mode in NBA 2K23 could be a lot more fun.
