11 teams are above the luxury tax

At this time there are 11 NBA teams that are above the salary barrier set by the luxury tax for the 2022-2023 season, according to figures provided by the Spotrac journalist Keith Smith.

Last season there were 7 teams that had to pay this tax: Warriors, Nets, Clippers, Bucks, Lakers, Jazz and Sixers.

– Warriors 36.5 million.

– Net 31.2 million.

– Bucks 23.6 million.

– Celtics 20.1 million.

– Suns 16.2 million.

– Lakers 16.1 million.

– Mavericks 14.6 million.

– Nuggets 10.5 million.

– Blazers 1.5 million.

-Hawks 1.2 million.
