Zlín acquired Cameroonian defender Didibu, Bartošák returns from Karviná

Stopper or defensive midfielder Joss Didiba became Zlín’s first summer signing. The 24-year-old Cameroonian headed to the twelfth team of the past league season from Opava and signed a three-year contract. The same contract was also given to the returnee from Karviná Lukáš Bartošák, who will perform again at Letná in Zlín after two years. “Shoemakers” informed about both transfers on the club’s website.

“We were already interested in Didi in the past and I am very happy that we have now managed to complete everything. He gained experience in Perugia and Juventus in Italy in his youth, so we see great potential in this player.” said Zlín general manager Zdeněk Grygera.

Didiba played 27 matches in the highest competition. In the last season of the second league, he helped Opava to participate in the play-off, but Slezáné did not succeed against Bohemians 1905. The native of Douala, Cameroon should replace Cheick Conde in the midfield in the Zlín lineup, who transferred to the team of the Swiss champion FC Zurich.

Bartošák returns to Zlín after two years in Karviná, with whom he was relegated to the second league this year. The 31-year-old owner of one national team start played for “Shoes” between 2017 and 2020 and played in the European League with them.
