The second edition of French Individual Wheelchair Tennis Championships will take place from Thursday 23 to Sunday 26 June 2022. For the second consecutive year, this event will take place on the facilities of the Grenoble Tennis (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes league).

Guilhem Laget et Pauline Déroulède expected

Organized by the FFT, this competition, which occupies an essential place in the national calendar of wheelchair tennis, will bring together 45 players, among the best in their category. The latter will compete to try to win the title of champion of France. Seven events will be on the program : Gentlemen 1time series, 2e series, 3e series, 4e series, Ladies, Quads and Juniors. Once again, the line-up of players promises to be particularly high. Both members of the France team, Guilhem Laget15e worldwide and No. 3 in France for men (1st series) and Pauline Deroulede21e world and French n°2, in the women’s category, will try to retain their title. In the Quads category, Thomas Huguenin (ARA league), which took the place of French number 1 in the ranking for the month of June, will be in the running in this competition.


Among the juniors, Justin Michel et Ksenia Chasteauwho participated in the last World Cup in Portugal last May, will have a good part to play in this event, while Paul Attristain et Ilian Saidi will try to get out of the game.
Throughout this event, activities will be offered to introduce the practice of wheelchair tennis to students from schools in the region, but also to patients in rehabilitation centres.
