Val d’Anast. The badminton club celebrated its 30th anniversary on Saturday

Saturday afternoon, at the sports hall of La Chapelle-Bouëxic, a hundred people celebrated the thirtieth anniversary of the badminton club.

On this occasion, everyone was able to practice their favorite sport, but also discover a discipline, Air badminton, thanks to the provision of kits by the League of Brittany, a first in the region.

In the sports hall, an exhibition of photos and articles retracing the life of the club since 1991 has allowed everyone to find names and faces that have been somewhat forgotten, to relive the history of the club, founded in 1991, through memory.

It’s really nice to see many former licensees who have helped write the history of the club. Sport is above all a human adventure testifies Samuel Hochard, president of the club since 2002.

Today, the club has 130 members, who can practice their sport in the halls of Maure-de-Bretagne, Mernel and La Chapelle-Bouëxic. These three places make it possible to offer specific daily slots by categories of age, level or type of practice. says the president.

The day ended with a meal which brought together 90 guests.
