Tiro Federal wins even on penalties and the madness no longer has limits

What madness is in Tiro Federal…! After leaving behind the regular phase as the best team in the tournament, in the first eliminatory match of the playoffs they raffled the tough team from Bella Vista via penalties, after equaling two goals in regulation time, and settled in the final. .

The Turkish fans, who attended in large numbers, were delighted with another gala performance, this time from the twelve paces. The embrace of the players on the field and the chants as banners towards the classic rival warmed up one of the coldest afternoons of the year.

Tire did not play his best game; What’s more, even he was surpassed by his rival in several passages. But he has that share of luck that accompanies him and some players – as happened this time with Altfater, Llanos, Santiago López and goalkeeper Fabi – who appear at crucial moments.

a little bit of fortune

In the first half, Tiro came out to impose conditions, but quickly realized that Bella Vista was going to be a tough nut to crack.

Daniel Correa raised the fight in the middle zone, subtracting presence from the rival’s slight ones. However, an involuntary error by Esteban Esparza, in an inconsequential play, gave the locals a chance to open the scoring.

The defender slipped, lost control of the ball and Franco Altfater was served for a withering run. The striker was measuring the exit of goalkeeper Francisco Martínez and with category he defined on one side, at mid-height.

Tiro had the chance to wait crouched to take advantage of the counter spaces, but that never happened.

Bella Vista began to gain ground without despairing, it found in Mariano Sacomani a luxury performer to win the divisions and in Franco Sangronis and Ezequiel Intrevado two direct pass players who complicated things too much. Santillán, up front, also moved intelligently to complicate Mancinelli and Walter.

The other artist who joined the work was Rodrigo Gómez, the former midfielder turned defender, although with the freedom to finish plays.

The “3” warned with a high shot after a pass behind Santillán and then, in what was a true work of art, he scored from a set piece with a masterful left-footed shot from 35 meters.

A real goal, with a tremendous camber that surprised Fabi, because the ball entered at an angle when nobody expected it.

In the image of the final minutes, Bella Vista was better outlined. He went to look for the second – there was a goal by Santillán that was well annulled due to an advanced position – and at times he had the host on the ropes.

The referee’s error and penalties

In the complement, Tiro had a clear action at the feet of Santiago López, but the goalkeeper Martínez was quick with reflexes.

However, it was Bella Vista who took advantage of his chance in a play that caught the entire aurivioleta bottom badly.

A brushstroke of Intrevado with a pass between the lines for Matías Meyer’s quickie. The ex-Olimpo leaked through the middle, ran like a gazelle and when the goalkeeper doubted Fabi, he had time to dribble past “1” to convert with an empty goal.

The Galician team managed to make those led by Tuya very uncomfortable, who sought in the relays the chance to reinvent themselves.

With almost four forwards on the court, Tiro exposed all his pride and went in search of equality.

Cristian Llanos was one of the flag bearers of the lift, because he put his heart and claw in a sector of the field where he ran at a disadvantage. Manso, Di Santoro, Adaro and Onorio also contributed positively to tilt the field.

But fatigue also forced Correa to introduce variants, although the substitutes from Bella Vista did not have the same answers.

Tiro pressed the accelerator, prowled the rival area and demanded two penalties from Santiago López: one doubtful from Walker and another from Sacomani, which did not go.

However, it was tied due to a gross error by referee Lucas De Dios, who did not sanction a clear foul by Facundo Gutiérrez against Santillán when the play began.

The ball drifted to the admitted player Martín Di Santoro and then, after a beautiful pass, to the striker Altfater, who cut in from the right for a cross shot, low to the ground, unattainable.

Then came several complaints -with good reason- from the visit and six minutes of addition that contributed little to the show, except for a ball from Parra that made goalkeeper Fabi shine.

On penalties, the locals hit everything -the fourth was Di Santoro’s-, while Fabi became a hero by saving one and Walker hit him so badly that the ball went very far from the horizontal.

Tiro enjoyed another classic win and now has a double chance for glory.
