Third match of ING Basketball Super League playoff final series: Anadolu Efes defeated Fenerbahçe Beko at home and won its first game in the series.

Anadolu Efes defeated Fenerbahçe Beko with a score of 103-92 in the third match of the ING Basketball Super League playoff final series, bringing the situation to 2-1 in the series.

Anadolu Efes, which defeated Fenerbahçe Beko, managed to extend the series in the match played at the Sinan Erdem Sports Hall, hosted by Anadolu Efes.

Starting the game fast with Vasilije Micic’s effective play, Anadolu Efes started with a 7-0 series with Micic’s assist and Shane Larkin’s 3-point field goal.

After the 7-0 start, Fenerbahçe Beko, balancing with the offensive side of Pierria Henry and Nando De Colo, managed to equalize the score at 13-13 with Henry’s 3-point field goal, which was about to expire.

At the end of the first quarter, Anadolu Efes closed the first quarter with a score of 31-25, with Shane Larkin’s 3-pointers and Tibor Pleiss’s production under the basket.

In the second quarter, Fenerbahçe Beko started fast with the baskets of Nando De Colo, Jan Vesely and Marko Guduric, while Fenerbahçe Beko took the lead by bringing the score to 38-37 with Devin Booker’s basket.

Anadolu Efes took the lead again, bringing the score to 40-38 with a 3-point field goal from Elijah Bryant, while Vasilije Micic managed to increase the gap to 5 points with 6 consecutive points. However, at the end of the quarter, Fenerbahçe Beko scored two 3-pointers in a row from Melih Mahmutoğlu and Marko Guduric and took the lead again, bringing the score to 50-49.

Shane Larkin from Anadolu Efes had the last word in the first half. Shane Larkin, who recorded his fifth 3-point field goal with a three-pointer in the last second of the half, brought the score to 52-50 and put his team ahead again. Anadolu Efes had a 12/19 3-point field goal in the first half and scored 36 of 52 points from behind the arc.

Evaluating Fenerbahce Beko’s turnovers, Shane Larkin scored 7 points at the beginning of the second half, and Anadolu Efes brought the score to 63-53, bringing the lead to double digits.

Fenerbahce Beko, trying to catch up with the opponent with 3-point shooting by Marko Guduric and Pierria Henry, brought the score to 76-69 at the end of the quarter and managed to reduce the gap to 7 points. In the last quarter, Shane Larkin, who shot very accurately throughout the match, increased the gap to 12 with two 3-pointers in a row, while Fenerbahçe Beko Coach Djordjevic had to take a time-out.

After the timeout, Shane Larkin’s ninth 3-pointer in the game increased the lead to 14 points by Anadolu Efes.

In the last episode, with Devin Booker, Marko Guduric and Pierria Henry’s 3-point hits and Şehmus Hazer’s slam dunk, Fenerbahçe Beko reduced the lead to 8 points and gave Anadolu Efes Coach Ergin Ataman a timeout.

Anadolu Efes, who did not allow Fenerbahçe Beko to close the gap with the score productions of Micic and Larkin in the last minutes of the match, won the match with a score of 103-92 and achieved its first win in the series. Anadolu Efes won the game with 19/36 3-pointers and Shane Larkin scored 37 points with 9/14 3-pointers. Vasilije Micic had 29 points and 7 assists, while Tibor Pleiss also scored 15. Pierria Henry with 21 points, Marko Guduric with 14 points, Nando De Colo with 13 points and Jan Vesely with 12 points for Fenerbahçe Beko.

The fourth game of the series will be played at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall on Monday, June 13, hosted by Anadolu Efes.
