The New York Mets have been one of the best teams in the first third of the 2022 Major League Baseball (MLB) seasonand a large part of that is due to the great performance of its rotation, which is still waiting for the recovery of Max Scherzer.
Former Washington Nationals sprained his oblique in his last startjoining Jacob deGrom (shoulder blade) and Tylor Megill (tendinitis) as the members of the Queens team’s rotation who will miss time off the mound.

The oblique will not be the only thing that Max Scherzer will have to recover from in this stage of rehabilitation, after suffering an incredible mishap at home while trying to help his dog. According to Mike Puma of the New York Post, the pitcher was bitten by the canine.
The bite occurred on Scherzer’s left hand, saving his throwing hand., while the Mets first baseman was trying to help him after injuring one of his legs. The same player came out to clarify the situation on his social networks.
