The tennis tournament was successfully held at the Rowing Club

With more than 10 disputed finals, culminated last Saturday the tercer Torneo Regional R6 of minors, former Grade 2, which was based on the fields of the Rowing Club. It was supervised by the Central Region Tennis Club Federation and is part of the official calendar of the Argentine Tennis Association (AAT).

In this way, the rowing entity vibrated with the most outstanding juniors of Region 6 in the Sub 12, 14, 16 and 18 categories (men and women). In total there were more than 100 tennis players who traveled to this city.

Throughout most of the week, the competitors offered matches full of intensity and dynamism on the tennis courts. They were invaded by the promises of this sport, who were able to develop and play all the matches without complications thanks to the good weather and the great work of the organization.

More than ten tennis players from the rowing school participated in this contest, who competed to add points for the ranking of the current year. They were: Kevin Vena and Felipe Godoy in Sub 12; Paula Vidal, Gerónimo Romero and Martin Pecorena in Sub 14; Simón Ferreira and Tomás Bogliano in Sub 16 and Juan Bacci, Felpe Refort, Zenón Miguelez and Luciano Sala in Sub 18.

In addition, Milo Doartero, Imanol Doartero, Baltazar Roggero, Augusto Sorhochar and Tomás Puga participated in Sub 10. Of these names, Sorhochar stood out taking the title of this division. While Roggero was a semifinalist and Imanol Doartero and Tomás Puga were eliminated in the quarterfinals.

In Under 12, Vena and Godoy were one key away from the semifinals in singles. However, in that instance they were eliminated in doubles.

In Sub 14, Vidal did not pass the first round in singles and in doubles, along with her partner Paz Alberti, they reached the quarterfinals.

For the same division, Pecorena fell in the first round and Romero in the quarterfinals.

In the Sub 16, Ferreira and Bogliano did not pass the first key. While the U18 men Refort and Miguelez reached the round of 16 and Sala and Bacci to the quarterfinals.
