Stephen Curry became the hero of the Golden State Warriors’ 107-97 victory over the Boston Celtics on Friday night, which allowed his team to level the NBA Finals at two wins a side.
Curry finished with 43 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and had 4 assists in a game that put him alongside legends such as Michael Jordan and LeBron James, the best players in league history.

The Warriors point guard became just the third player in history to score 40 or more points in a Finals game aged 34 or older, joining Jordan and the Los Angeles Lakers star.
In turn, Curry is the first player in NBA history with at least 5 three-pointers in 4 consecutive games in the Finals, emphasizing being the best three-pointer in league history.

Curry is already a candidate for Finals MVP, one of the awards that has eluded him since his appearance in the NBA. In the 4 games that have been played, the point guard averages 34.3 points per game, 6.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 37.1 minutes per game.
