The Lot vice-champion interdepartmental of Occitanie

This Saturday, June 4, took place in Rabastens, in the Tarn, the interdepartmental cup of Occitanie badminton. The Lot players managed to climb to second place in the Occitanie region.

This competition, organized by the Regional League, brought together the four most dynamic departmental teams in the region.

Lot created a surprise by taking second place. After a first meeting lost by only one point against Haute-Garonne, the Lotoise team won its matches against Aveyron then against Tarn.

Great performance from the youngest and youngest selected who were able to compete in men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles.

Congratulations to Timéo Maruaé, Roméo Goulmot, Lucile Reynes and Lison Dajean from Pradines Badminton, Flavie Michel and Maëlia Bruneau from Bad Bouriane Club, Ilan Louis-Sertier from Athlé 46 Badminton Souillac and Louen Allaire from Badminton Saint-Céré.

They were accompanied by departmental coach Baptiste Dajean. Nice return of the Lot therefore in this team competition after several seasons of absence.

The departmental championship on June 11 and 12 in Vigan

The badminton season is far from over since next weekend, June 11 and 12, it is in Vigan that the adult badminton players have an appointment for the departmental championship then the following weekend the young people will go to Castelnaudary to compete in the last stage of the Regional Youth Trophy.
