The first Hunan Women’s Health Games was launched in Chenzhou

Huasheng Online, June 12 (all media reporter Li Bingjun correspondent Guo Youhua) Today, the launching ceremony of the first Hunan Women’s Health Games of “Phoenix Dance Xiaoxiang·Healthy Future” and the “Beautiful Countryside Green West River” Chenzhou Xihe Health Running Event, in Xihe Scenic Belt (Suxian Section) was held.
The Games was jointly sponsored by the Provincial Women’s Federation, the Provincial Sports Bureau, the Provincial Health Commission, the Provincial Family Planning Association, the Provincial Taxation Bureau, and the Chenzhou Municipal Government. After the launching ceremony, hundreds of athletes from all over the province ran the Xihe River with Lianshan Manor in Hetou Village, Qifengdu Town, Suxian District as the starting point and Zhuangmen Village as the end point, with a total distance of 7.6 kilometers. At the same time, along the beautiful Xihe scenic belt, a variety of activities such as “Chenpin Chenwei” rural revitalization rally and traditional dragon boat performances were held.
This Games will implement the linkage of the five-level women’s federations at the provincial, city, county, township and village levels, and will hold six major events: healthy running, gas volleyball, badminton, tug-of-war, family fun games, and square dance. Daily sports steps challenge, rope skipping challenge and other activities.
The Xihe River is named after it winds around the northwest of Chenzhou. It originates from the Qitianling Mountains in Yangtian Lake, Beihu District. It joins the Lei River in Xihe Village, Bianjiang Street, Yongxing County. Yongxing has 4 districts and counties with a drainage area of 1,618 square kilometers. The natural resource endowment along the route is good, the historical and cultural heritage is profound, and the agricultural industry foundation is solid. In recent years, Chenzhou City has built the Xihe rural revitalization demonstration belt around the provincial party committee and the provincial government’s goal of “making efforts to build a model for rural revitalization in Hunan”, and strives to make the Xihe line a nationally renowned demonstration belt for rural revitalization and well-known rural leisure tourism by 2024.
