the FIBA ​​National Youth Camp detects young talents in Port-Gentil –

A large delegation from the Gabonese Basketball Federation (FEGABAB) presented to the Mayor of the municipality of Port-Gentil during a hearing a project for detecting young talents which will be implemented by the FIBA ​​National Youth Camp.

Indeed, within the framework of training organized by FIBA ​​concerning the development of basketball, the vision of the delegation led by the president of FEGABAB, Willy Conrad Asseko, is to help Gabon to detect young nuggets and better train technical supervisors. This Camp will be piloted by FIBA ​​technicians, piloted by FIBA ​​Africa and especially by the NBA.

Are concerned by this training, young girls and boys aged 14 to 17 years and having physical and technical predispositions on the one hand; but also ; trainers specializing in training on the other hand.

“This activity will allow us to highlight the city of Port-Gentil. And the highest authorities value this kind of activity. We are fond of the sportsmen of this city with all that Port-Gentil has already given to Gabon in terms of sport. We will do our best”Mr. Asseko said.

It must be said that this is a sample of sixty people from the nine provinces of Gabon, who are currently staying in the economic capital. The training takes place at the municipal fair Pierre Louis Agondjo Okawe. This activity is sponsored by the Town Hall of Port-Gentil, which sees in this initiative a real opportunity that will allow young talents to better express themselves.
