The ‘DIScover Badminton’ project returns in 2022 and does so with new features. The innovative national initiative of the Spanish Badminton Federation (FESBA) for the promotion of inclusive sport continues to develop with the challenge of becoming the social program with the greatest territorial participation in our sport.

The main novelty in this edition of “DIScover Badminton” is that the project has its own system of Grants for Territorial Federations. In this way, and under the coordination of the person in charge of Social Inclusion and Women’s Participation projects, Andrea Gutiérrez, each Federation will be able to design an ad hoc regional project to qualify for said aid and thus be able to carry it out during the current season.

After having created a complete national database of athletes and technicians with disabilities during the past season, this new edition will be key to boosting the number of badminton practitioners and creating a true National Inclusion Network that will be established as part of the system of this discipline.
