Sunday 19 June, at the Cherasco Golf Club (via Fraschetta, 8) the Cuneo stage of the 31st Aci Golf, valid for the Italian championship of ACI members, organized by the Cuneo Automobile Club. At the end of the event the fifth “Memorial Brunello Olivero” to the member of the Provincial Club who will be classified 1st gross. “ACI Golf, an initiative of the Automobile Club of Italy which is gaining ever greater success year after year, thanks to the territorial involvement of the provincial Automobile Clubs and the support of many companies that have joined the project, takes place again this year on the prestigious green of the Cherasco Golf Club, which will host the Cuneo stage – declares the president of ACI Cuneo, Francesco Revelli -. A challenge that began in 1992 on the happy intuition of the late president of the Automobile Club of Cuneo, Brunello Olivero, whom we will also remember on the occasion of this 31st edition. For the fifth consecutive year, in fact, we will assign the Brunello Olivero Memorial to the member of the Automobile Club Cuneo who will be classified 1st gross».
The ACI Golf circuit is a success that the Automobile Club of Italy renews every year, to the benefit of the participating members. The 39 stages the program will bring another 3,000 people to the green this year with their families to share the values of sport and being together in the open air, in an event that crosses Italy, strengthening the indissoluble bond between golf and mobility, above all by car. The final in October in a prestigious and fascinating scenario such as the Costa Smeralda, already the scene of events with a strong international appeal such as the tricolor stage of the WRC World Championship “Rally Italia Sardegna” or the “Rally Costa Smeralda”, will be the spearhead of a calendar of events that from April to September will guarantee emotions throughout the national territory, offering fun, entertainment and many prizes, not only to the most experienced.
To participate in Aci Golf it is necessary to be registered with the Aci. Those who do not yet have an ACI membership card can subscribe to it at particularly advantageous conditions on the day of the race, immediately accessing the facilities of this fascinating circuit. The type of association can be chosen from the vast range of types of ACI cards up to the ACI Storico card, reserved for fans of historic cars. The circuit selection competitions began on Saturday 2 April and will end with the last challenge scheduled for Sunday 25 September at the Colli Berici Golf Club. The final will take place on the Costa Smeralda, at the Pevero Golf Club from 3 to 7 October.
