59 athletes took part in the Regional target shooting championship held in the municipal stadium “Ninetto Muscolo” in Roccella Jonica (Reggio Calabria). The archers, coming from all over the region, faced each other for the conquest of the regional, class and absolute title. The first part of the day saw the athletes engaged in the preparatory qualifications for the final clashes held in the afternoon.

Among the athletes competing, the award-winning Palmese champion Rocco Schipilliti, gold medal at the Italian Regions Cup and gold medal at the Italian Class Championships; Elena Branca young Italian champion in field shooting; and Enza Petrilli champion at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics and triple gold at the Dubai 2022 Paralympic World Championships.
To triumph as regional absolute champions were: Rocco Schipilliti (Absolute Men’s Olympic Arch); Benedetto Maria (Absolute Women’s Olympic Arch) e Romeo Francesco (Absolute Compound Bow Male).
