Basketball doesn’t rest in the summer thanks to Basket Summer Gandia, the reference tournament at the end of the season. One more year, teams from different autonomous communities meet to measure themselves in the three enabled sports centers: municipal pavilion, Raval pavilion and Beniopa pavilion, which can be accessed free of charge.
In them, 84 teams will face each other to play a total of 132 matches, which will mean three days full of matches for the more than 1,100 players who will enjoy this tournament.
The entire competition can be followed live through social networks (@basketsummer) and the tournament App. The organizing company, Quality Life Sport, celebrates the 5th anniversary of the Basket Summer Gandia tournament with an initiative of sports-themed night activities on the beach baseball field. The tournament mobilizes more than 2,000 people, almost all of them with overnight stays in the city itself between players, fans and technical teams.
