The Abenaki high school rewards its athletes

SPORT. 1is June, the Abenaki high school in Saint-Prosper held the 49e edition of its sports gala to reward the exploits of its athletes.

Caleb Boulet is the athlete who has distinguished himself the most by winning the awards for student-athlete and male sports personality of the year. Victoria Bergeron (female sports personality), Audreyan Duquet (female athlete of the year) and Frédéric Beaudoin (male athlete of the year) were the recipients of the other undergraduate awards.

Mathias Cloutier (student-athlete of the year), Alicia Drouin (male sports personality), Alexandre Dubé (female sports personality), Océanne Lessard-Beaulieu (female athlete of the year) and Adam Cormier (male athlete of the year ) won top honors among the oldest.

During the evening, Simon Leblanc, a triathlete from Saint-Prosper, played the role of guest of honor by giving a touching and inspiring conference for the students and parents present on site.

Nearly 150 student-athletes defended the colors of the Wolverines this year. Most of the teams are part of the Beauce-Etchemin School Service Center league. The hockey, rugby and volleyball teams have evolved in the Quebec Student Sports Network of Quebec and Chaudière-Appalaches.
