Ten countries in the opening of the Pony Children’s Caribbean Series

The fair is dedicated to the engineer Víctor-Ito-Bisonó, Minister of Industry and Commerce, and in recognition of the engineer Deligne Ascención, Minister of Public Works

Old Mother, San Cristobal.– With the presence of 10 countries, the “2022 Pony Children’s Baseball Caribbean Series«, to be held from the 22nd to the 26th of this month, dedicated to the engineer Victor- Ito- BisonóMinister of Industry and Commerce, and in recognition of the engineer Deligne Burgos AscensionMinister of Public Works, at the Sodocal club play, Madre Vieja, San Cristóbal.

The act began with the parade of the different delegations, the song to the homeland and the invocation of the Almighty by Kenia Rosario.

The words of welcome were given by Professor Eugenio Báez, president of the Pony League Baseball in the country, who welcomed each of the countries present.

On his side, Mayor José Montás, president of the organizing committee, pointed out that the opening of the international children’s baseball party is part of the “Bicentennial” celebration of that city of San Cristóbal.

“Welcome each of the countries present at this great children’s baseball event, which further unites the ties of friendship between the countries of Puerto Rico, Colombia, Panama, Aruba, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Honduras, Curaçao and the hosts from the Dominican Republic,” Montás exclaimed.

The Vice Minister of Sports, Kennedy Vargas, representing Minister Francisco Camacho, congratulated Professor Eugenio Báez and his team for their great work in favor of children and youth.

Then a plaque was delivered to the engineer Víctor-Ito-Bisonó, to whom the fair is dedicated.
“I thank the Pony for dedicating this event to me, which brings together children from various countries,” said Bisonó.
