- November 14, 2022 – January 4, 2022 (Qatar World Cup 2022): 52 days;
- 20-26 March 2023 (Euro 2024 Qualifiers): 7 days.

Serie A 2022/23 Calendar Draw
Well in advance of the past, Friday 24 Junestarting from noon, the draw will define the composition of the 38 matchdays of the top league and the order of the 380 matches.
As in last season, the Serie A 2022/23 calendar will be asymmetricalor there will be no correspondence between the first round and the second round.
«The asymmetrical calendar has worked and will be revived – declared Luigi De Siervo, managing director of Lega Serie A –. It is a tool that allows greater flexibility and will be even more necessary next year with the winter World Cup: the European cups will be compressed in the calendar and the top teams will not meet in those weeks. Before the draw, the Serie A League has established the criteria that will regulate it:
- Given the asymmetrical schedule, a match will not have its return before others have been played 8 meetings;
- There can be no more than two pairs of consecutive home and / or away matches per group;
- In the event that there are two pairs of consecutive matches at home and / or away, one match pair must necessarily be at home and the other away;
- In the four rounds midweek weekdays the derbies of Milan, Turin, Rome, the Tuscan and Campania ones, in addition to the matches between Atalanta, Inter, Juventus, Lazio, Milan, Napoli e Roma;
- At the prima e all’ultima day derbies cannot be scheduled. These must in any case take place on different days;
- No match (same match on the same day, with the same home / away order) can be repeated with respect to Calendar 2021/22;
- In first day clubs that have already met on the first day of the two previous championships cannot meet, regardless of the home / away order;
- Nell’last day clubs that have already met on the last day of the two previous championships cannot meet, regardless of the home / away order;
- The companies participating in the Champions League (Milan, Inter, Juventus, Napoli) cannot be drawn with clubs participating in theEuropa League (Lazio and Rome) and to the Conference League (Fiorentina) in the days following a Europa League / Conference League round.
