The Pole Rafal Majka, the American Brandon McNulty, the Spaniard Marc Soler and the New Zealander George Bennett have to try to assist Tadej Pogacar in the high mountains.
With the Italian Matteo Trentin, the Dane Mikkel Bjerg and the Norwegian Vegard Stake Laengen, three more all-rounders were added to the squad.
“It will be my third Tour and I’m really looking forward to it,” Pogacar looked ahead. “We have worked hard all year to be ready. Hopefully we can show everyone a nice race for three weeks.”
“The year has been positive for the team so far. We hope to continue that in the Tour. We know it won’t be easy, but that’s part of the magic of the Tour.”
Pogacar was already the best this season in the UAE Tour, Strade Bianche, Tirreno-Adriatico and earlier this month in the Tour of Slovenia.
The Tour starts on July 1 in the Danish capital Copenhagen.
