According to the Diva from the Bronx, having been in the same show with the Colombian caused that, being both great stars of Latin origin, there would be a clash of moments: “We have to have our moment. It’s not going to be a fucking dance revue. This is the worst idea in the world, for two people to perform at the Super Bowl. It was the worst idea in the world.”

After that controversial moment, Jennifer Lopez explained the difficulties that they had to go through behind the scenes just one day before the show, where they threw back an idea that the Puerto Rican had as a symbolism against the anti-immigrant policy of Donald Trumpwho was the president of the United States
