Stupel and Gordeyev 20th place in the third stage of the World Championship

Latvian canter Kaspars Stupelis together with Estonian rider Gert Gordejev took the 20th place in the third stage of the World Motocross Championship organized by the International Motorsport Federation (FIM) in Belgium on Sunday.

On Saturday, the Estonian and Latvian crews showed the tenth best result in their qualification group.

On Sunday, in the first race, Gordeyev took the 23rd position with Stupel, but in the second race he climbed higher and took the 16th place.

The best in the third stage was Robbie Buck from the Netherlands and Marvin Vanlušen from Belgium, while the second place was taken by the Dutch and Czech crews Etienne Baks and Ondréch ​​Chermak.

After three stages, Stupulis’s crew with 30 points is in 18th place, but the first place with 117 points is taken by Baks and Chermak.

The calendar for the 2022 season includes six stages.

In the overall standings of the 2021 race, the Gordejev / Stupulis crew took 11th place, but the Dutch champion Etienne Baks and the French cantor Nicolas Muse won the world champions. Both Stupelis and Gordeyev were forced to skip the first race of the season due to injuries.
