Baseball Bundesliga club Hamburg Stealers has booked the hoped-for victories against Dortmund Wanderers in the fight for participation in the playoffs. Coach David Wohlgemuth’s team won the first duel 3-0 on Saturday. It was followed by an 8:1 in the second game. In both games, Simon Bäumer was on the throwing mound at the end and ensured his team’s success.
Before the first meeting, the 1st chairman Sven Huhnholz had been given a special honor with the “jersey retirement”. The former player’s No. 17 was hung on the outfield fence and will not be awarded in the future.
