Hamburg (dpa / lno) – The Hamburg Stealers suffered a setback in the Bundesliga baseball battle for the playoff spots. Coach David Wohlgemuth’s team lost 3:10 and 3:4 to the Dohren Wild Farmers. While the first game ended clearly for the hosts, the Hanseatic League managed to score three points in the second duel after being 4-0 down.
But it shouldn’t be enough anymore. “All in all, there are two bitter defeats,” admitted Wohlgemuth. The Stealers remain third in the table for the time being, ahead of the Berlin Flamingos and the Wild Farmers, who have the same number of points.
