In the two units, more than 50 judoka in the age groups U13 to U18 used the opportunity to develop further. In addition to the people of Brandenburg, the participants even traveled from Lower Saxony, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Berlin.
After an intensive warm-up, there was first the part of the tachi-waza – the standing training. The participants practiced standing techniques with different entrances. In the second part there was training of ground techniques – Ne-waza. Here it was about situations from lower and upper position, the participants practiced turning the partner and above all the liberation. At the end there was Randori training for everyone.

Base trainer Mirko Wockatz was on the mat as assistant trainer. BJV youth referee Lucas Hermann also supported on the mat. Also in the hall was the DJB mascot Yoko. “That went down well with the children,” says Mirko Wockatz.
During the training break there was an autograph session with the national coach U18, Sandra Klinger.
“The participants obviously had fun and were able to take away some new knowledge for the future,” says Lucas Hermann with certainty. Mirko Wockatz also confirms this. “I would organize such a training again and again and would definitely recommend the national associations to apply for the top tour.”
After the long Corona break, there were finally spectators again. “A large number of parents watched the training,” says Wockatz.
