Many people are still shocked after learning of the singer’s recent breakup Shakira and the footballer Gerard Piqué; however, beyond their relationship as a couple, both have decided to maintain a friendly relationship for their young children.

The event in which they were seen together again happened over the weekend in Hluboká, in the Czech Republic, where their little 9-year-old son Milan was participating in a baseball event, since he is part of the Catalan team.

Although they were not photographed together, both Shakira and Piqué remained at the scene with their other son Sasha, 7 years old.

At the event Shakira showed off her figure in a strapless black mini dress chatting with several kids from her son’s team, while Gerard was seen with his head down at the event. According to the British newspaper The Sun, Shakira never misses her children’s games if work allows it.

This time, Gerard was also there to support his son, who represented a Catalan team in the U-10 competition.

After several days of rumors in various publications, the Colombian singer Shakira announced last Saturday that she is separating from her partner, the Spanish footballer for FC Barcelona Gerard Piqué, with whom she has shared her life for the last twelve years and has had two children, Milan and Shasha, 9 and 7 years old respectively.

Shakira thus confirmed what was already an open secret through a brief statement released by her communication agency in which she asks for “respect” for her family’s privacy.

“We regret to confirm that we are parting ways. For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy. Thank you for your understanding,” the statement said.

At the moment it is known that Piqué has been living for several weeks in his single apartment in Barcelona. Some media also pointed out that as a result of this separation process, due, according to certain publications, to an infidelity of the footballer.
