Seniors take up sports

Organized by the Maison sport santé de l’Yonne and supported by the departmental Olympic and sports committee (CDOS), this afternoon aimed to develop the practice of healthy sport and create social ties with sedentary people. Senior members of the Maison sport santé also came to practice and celebrate the end of the sports year.

” It’s never too late ”

On a daily basis, the role of the Maison sport santé is to encourage people to resume physical activities that will be adapted to their pathology, their state of health, supervised by specialized educators. For Solène Chevillotte, Sport and Health development agent at CDOS 89, “it’s never too late to start a physical activity”. Moreover, the manager adds: “We offer devices that allow access to sport adapted to the person. »

Labeled in 2020 by the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Solidarity and Health, the Maison sport santé de l’Yonne has become a platform to promote structures in the territory, offering physical activities for health purposes.
