Scheffler and Rahm remain in command; Cantlay returns to the podium

Scottie Sheffler and Jon Rahm continue to lead the world golf rankingswhile Patrick Cantlay, also an American, returns to the podium after beating Australian Cameron Smith and his compatriots Collin Morikawa and Justin Thomas.

Scheffler maintains a solid lead. He has 10.15 points on average to Rahm’s 7.66who at The Memorial, thanks to his good last day, returned to the ‘top 10’ of a tournament after finishing 48th in the PGA Championship, his previous participation.

Cantlay, third at the Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin (Ohio), occupies the same positionwhich he had not held since his bad participation in The Players in March.

Billy Horschel, winner of The Memorial, rose six places and is already eleventhwhile the Chilean Joaquín Niemann recovered two places and is sixteenth.

Adri Arnaus, sixteenth in the Hamburg tournament of the DP World Tour, leaves the ‘top 50’ by losing two positions and placing 51, six ahead of Sergio García, who falls three. Pablo Larrazabal also backs down, now 70.
