Harvest of medals for the young people of Saint-Jean Badminton Club (SJBC), during the departmental youth badminton championship (from the Poussin to Junior category) in Fonsorbes. We note in particular for his first participation the place of finalist of the chick Paul Plutau and the 3rd place for Clément Gilles, still 1st year Benjamin. Special mention to Clara Boggione who achieves the triple (single, double and mixed).
For the first time in its history, the Saint-Jean club was represented at the French youth championship held in Mulhouse. This is Clara Boggione (youngest 2nd year) who is regional champion in singles and women’s doubles ( youngest category). For her first participation in this major annual meeting, the bar was too high for Clara to win a medal, but the experience acquired during these championships will help her progress to try her luck again next season and upset the favourites. Other very promising young people could join it next year, namely Clément Gilles, Lucas and Flore Duquesne Burglin who are among the best players in the region in their category.
