Lennart Mertens is sought after wild. RSC Anderlecht has been trying to bring the attacker of KMSK Deinze to Brussels for some time, but now Club Brugge is also reporting.
To be clear: Lennart Mertens would attract in 1B for the youngsters of RSC Anderlecht and Club NXT respectively. The 29-year-old attacker – he was good for 12 goals in the same competition last season – has to pull the young cart.
But then KMSK Deinze still has to be passed. The ambitious orange shirts don’t feel like seeing their top scorer leave without a fight. Moreover, Mertens still has a contract for one season – with an option for an extra year – in the Brielmeersen.
