Toni Nadal attended Cadena SER after his nephew’s 14th Roland Garros: “Although the final has been more comfortable than expected, due to everything that was around it is one of the greatest emotions that I have had in Rafael’s career. Regarding the future, Toni affirms: “I hope that next year he will be in Paris, I am not in his shoes, but I hope to continue seeing him play. Let’s see the evolution of the coming months. Rafael has been living with pain since 2005. I remember after a loss in Monte Carlo that told me he was not playing at Roland Garros, I think it was in 2020. He told me he was tired of having pain, but the reality is that he continues and tries again, that is the sporting greatness of my nephew. As I have seen him suffer many times, I always have the hope that he can recover, but I know that there comes a time when the body does not give for more.
