Praveen/Melati decide to withdraw from the round of 16 at the Indonesia Open 2022

KOMPAS.com – Indonesia’s mixed doubles, Praveen Jordan/Melati Daeva Oktavianti, decided to withdraw from the round of 16 at the Indonesia Open 2022.

The last 16 match at the Indonesia Open 2022 was held at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, on Thursday (16/6/2022).

Praveen/Melati were originally scheduled to compete against representatives of Malaysia, Chen Tan Jie/Valeree Siow, in the last 16 of the Indonesia Open 2022.

However, Praveen / Melati will certainly not play against Chan Tan Jie / Valeree Siow.

The reason is, Praveen Jordan was entangled in an injury when he was about to undergo a match against Chan Tan Jie / Valeree Siow.

This was known through the official Instagram of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) on Thursday (16/6/2022) afternoon WIB.

“Praveen/Melati withdraw from the top 16 of the East Ventures Indonesia Open 2022,” said PBSI’s official statement.

“Because, Jordan is having problems with his waist again. Get well soon! ”

This condition actually happened to Praveen Jordan. At that time, he was performing at the 2022 Badminton Asia Championship (BAC).

Therefore, Praveen Jordan and his co-star, Melati Daeva Oktavianti, were forced to not be able to continue their work at BAC 2022.
