The Portuguese opened the score after a quarter of an hour when, after Ronald’s shot from a direct kick, the ball reached Carvalho’s goal. Ronaldo received in the 35th minute after Jot’s pass and immediately added a second goal from the finish. Historically the best scorer of international matches, he increased his shooting account in the national team to 117 goals.
The five-time holder of the Golden Ball reached after the hat-trick, but scored the third goal shortly after the break from offside. In the 68th minute, Cancelo closed the result. The Portuguese defeated the Swiss for the third time in a row.

One hundred percent Norwegians remained in the B4 group, winning 2: 1 in the Nordic derby in Sweden.
