Peruvian badminton won its first gold medal in the mixed team modality at the Valledupar 2022 Bolivarian Games.
The Peruvian team won with a global score of 3-0 over Colombia in the final and achieved the fifth gold medal for our country.
The representatives of the Peruvian team are Ines Castillo, Fernanda Saponara, Daniel La Torre, Namie Miyahira, Diego Mini, Jose Guevara, Diego Subauste and Paula La Torre.
