The open days already brought together a good number of people this morning, mostly families, who came to discover the Inter-Army Oil Base located at 73, avenue de Paris, the trades, the equipment… The demonstrations were particularly successful.
The base has 550 soldiers and the numbers fluctuate almost daily on the training school, we are told. Recruitment takes place throughout the year while the recruitment of 25 reservists is completed, they will be trained from July 18th.
The Red Cross, the Judo Club Chalonnais and a supervised climbing wall offered demonstrations and trials to the public. The open house continues Saturday June 25 until 7 p.m. and Sunday June 26 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
