The Chaudière-Appalaches Regional Recreation and Sports Unit (URLS-CA) is preparing for the Final of the Quebec Games.
the 55th final will be held in Laval from July 22 to 30. For the past few weeks, the URLS has been coordinating the Regional Games which make it possible to select young people aged 12 to 17 who will make up the regional delegation. A collaboration takes place with the various sports associations present on the territory. And even though the last Summer Final dates back to 2018, sponsors are working hard to make the athlete qualification process possible.
Thirteen disciplines will be featured at the event; track and field, baseball, basketball, road cycling, golf, swimming, open water swimming, soccer, softball, archery, triathlon, volleyball and beach volleyball.
In addition, the Chaudière-Appalaches delegation is always looking for volunteers to compose its mission team. Usually made up of about ten people, its purpose is to accompany the different groups of athletes during the final.
Interested persons must be of legal age and be available from July 20 to 30, 2022. Transportation, accommodation, food and clothing for the delegation are provided for volunteers. All the details on recruitment and the Regional Games can be found at www.jeuxduquebec-ca.com
