Antwerp FC has received its first reinforcement for the new season. Ecuadorian Anthony Valencia signed a four-year contract.
Valencia comes over from Independiente del Valle. In February, the right winger, who is only 18, was still active in the U20 Copa Libertadores. He has scored two goals and two assists in five games.
Sporting director Marc Overmars has now really started it. Mark van Bommel was previously appointed as the new coach.
