In an effort to level the series, the Warriors surged forward in the third quarter dominating their rivals 35-14. Jordan Poole capped off the excellent quarter with a shot from half court as the siren sounded, much to the delight of fans. dubs.

Poole also became the youngest player in history to hit five shots from downtown in an NBA Finals game. He finished the game with 17 points. Curry, meanwhile, was once again dominant, with a 29-point tally.

On the visitors’ side, Jayson Tatum did everything he could to keep his side in the game, but had a tough game defensively. Thus, his catastrophic differential of -36 somewhat eclipsed his collection of 28 points. Jaylen Brown (17) and Derrick White (12) are the only other Celtics members to have more than 10 points. Al Horford experienced a dizzying decline by registering only two points, he who had accumulated 26 in the last game.

Both teams will have two days off before returning to action on Wednesday at TD Garden for Game 3 of the Finals.
