If we only look at the final scores (120 – 108 and 88 – 107), we would expect that each of the two teams had mastered their respective game. But looking in more detail, the current score of 1-1 perfectly reflects the physiognomy of the two meetings that took place. If we take out the Boston Celtics’ ultra-dominant fourth quarter in Game 1 (40-16 for Boston), the score was 92-80 in favor of the Golden State Warriors. A scenario that we find in the third quarter of the second match during which the San Francisco team ensured its victory (35 – 14, or 21 points difference while the final score has only 19) .
