SNEJ J-10. In ten days, the Vesoul-Vaivre lake site and its leisure area will host the National Youth Week (SNEJ) organized by the Haute-Saône departmental cycling committee and the French Cycling Federation. That is 450 young people and their 145 educators will discover the region in terms of sport, tourism and culture.
From July 9 to 17, nearly 600 cyclists will “invade” Vesoul and the surrounding countryside, a terrain particularly conducive to outdoor activities. The Greenways, numerous around the city, allow you to drive safely and discover the must-see tourist sites.
The young license holders aged 10 to under 18 representing eleven regional committees are ready to experience an intense week with, on a daily basis, road circuits, mountain bike courses and numerous leisure activities such as swimming, water sports, archery archery, climbing, etc. Despite the fatigue of the day, the evenings will be lively (while preserving the necessary rest)!

Competitions and criteria
In parallel with these activities, the official tests will take place in the boys’ and girls’ categories: national individual and team traffic education competition, reserved for 10-12 year olds and the national criterium for young cyclists. The national criterium is reserved for minors, cadets and juniors qualified in the regions after the departmental tests.
The best competitors of the national traffic education competition will be qualified for the selections for the European traffic education competition.

These different tests allow young people to measure their progress with a view to autonomy and ease on their two-wheelers, guaranteeing their safety.

The Pays de la Loire regional cycle tourism committee with 68 representatives and the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté regional committee and its 85 young people and adults stand out for their record participation in this Youth Week.

Interesting detail, the Pays de la Loire Regional Committee was the organizing committee of the SNEJ 2019 before covid and the Bourgogne-Franche Comté Regional Committee is hosting the 2022 edition.
