Now that the net is in place, it can be used. The lines will be added later and the official opening act will also be performed at a time to be planned. “But now that the net is in place, young and old can use it. We therefore cordially invite everyone to hit or kick a ball here, or to use the net with your badminton rackets on a beautiful summer day. After all, that’s what we set it up for,” say the initiators enthusiastically.
The province of Gelderland, where the vast majority of the World Cup will be held, has made subsidy available for a total of 40 outdoor sports nets. Not only to promote the net event, but also to bring attention to volleyball and other outdoor sports and exercise in general. Vitality is an important theme during the World Cup.
