The bad behavior of the fans who were in the western stand of the El Campín stadium on Wednesday, at the end of the match between Millonarios and Junior de Barranquilla, he generated a punishment from the Disciplinary Commission of the championship.

After analyzing the field commissioner’s report, the Commission punished Millonarios with “two (2) dates of partial suspension of the square, western low north, western low south and western low central stands”.

The sanction left the directors of Millonarios disconcerted, since the application of the punishment is immediate and just this Saturday, the Blues will play against Atlético Nacional for a good part of their chances of qualifying for the final.
In addition, in case of going to the last instance of the championship, Millonarios would not have fans in that sector of the stadium either, unless, as a result of the replacement and appeal resources, the punishment is reduced.
“Millionaires have not been notified of the sanction, we found out through the social networks of EL TIEMPO”, said the president of the Bogota club, Enrique Camacho.
For this reason, not yet having official notification, the club has not yet made any decision. “The entire stadium is sold out for the match against Nacional,” Camacho assured.
For now, there was an emergency meeting at the club to immediately present the appeal for replacement.

Why they sanctioned the lower western stand
The field commissioner’s report detailed the actions that generated the partial suspension of the plaza.
“After the game, there were throwing of objects (coins, plastic bottles with liquid inside) by fans of the Millonarios club from the preferential western low south stands, western preferential low central and western preferential low north towards the Junior FC club delegation and towards the referees, one of these plastic bottles hit the head of the Junior technical assistant Juan Manuel López Sirotta, who had to be removed on a stretcher by members of the Red Cross to the infirmary”, says the report.

“In order to enter the Junior FC delegation and the referees of the commitment to the dressing rooms, the presence of the captain of the Millonarios club David Macalister Silva was needed to appease the fans along with the police presence that required shields for this work”, adds the report.
