They represented Sicily with their heads held high at the Italian Championships in Rovereto, obtaining the highest podium.
A great satisfaction, shared today in Palazzo dell’Aquila by the Mayor Pippo Midili and the Councilor for sport Antonio Nicosia, with a meeting with the athletes and their coach Sergio Minniti, who over the years has wanted to focus on alternative sports disciplines from the most practiced like football and volleyball. Davide Salmeri, Rumesh Adikari, Luca Pio Napoli and Danilo Lipari managed to beat the teams from Liguria, Umbria, Trentino, Piedmont and in the final from Emilia Romagna, winning the title of Italian Champions.
An important milestone that once again marks a path of success for the Majorana institute, which over the years has become one of the excellences of the area also recognized nationally.
The kids, enthusiastic about the result achieved with sacrifice and dedication, two fundamental aspects in sport, received compliments from the mayor and the councilor for a victory that once again puts the national spotlight on the excellence of the Mamertine city.
