Madura United Pinang Ex Juventude, Dewa United Accommodates Bali United’s Fast Wings

Madura United announced their newest foreign player who plays as a central defender. The player is from Brazil, and is 29 years old.

It is Cleberson Martins de Souza, who is the latest recruit from Laskar Sapeh Kerrab. Cleberson has shone with Atletico Paranaense, which he played for from 2012 to 2018.

Then in 2021, he played for Juventude, who also played in the top tier of the Brazilian competition at that time. Madura United’s signing of Cleberson was announced on Saturday, 4 June.

Thus, Madura United have five foreign players in their squad. The aroma of Brazil is so thick, with the presence of Hugo Jaja, Lulinha, and Cleberson. Then the other two names are Selwan Aljaberi and Lee Yoo-joon.

Madura United is currently undergoing the naturalization process from Yoo-joon, who has been in Indonesia for years defending Bhayangkara FC. Meanwhile Lulinha and Aljaberi are in the selection process. Lulinha is the new face of the Indonesian League, while Aljaberi last season with Persela Lamongan.

Dewa United accommodates Bali United’s fast wing

Bali United decided to part ways permanently with winger Fahmi Al Ayyubi. Brought in from Persela Lamongan three years ago, Fahmi finally had to leave the defending champions League 1.

In the second season of Liga 1 2021/22, Bali United loaned Fahmi to Persik Kediri and made 14 appearances for the club nicknamed the White Tiger. The fatness of the Bali United squad on the wings made Fahmi have to choose another place.

Dewa United as a League 1 promotion club maximized this, and announced the recruitment of Fahmi on Friday (3/6) night WIB. Thus, Dewa United has two wingers who graduated from Persela Lamongan.

Before Fahmi, Sugeng Efendi had already been brought in from PSIM Jogja. Sugeng has also defended Bali United, but at the U-21 level.
