However, the directors are already working on preparing the next semester, which will be affected by Qatar 2022, scheduled to be played at the end of the year.
La Dimayor communicated the decisions made at the BetPlay 2022-II League Competition Board, announcing the format and dates on which the contest will be played. This was made known by the entity, through a statement “DIMAYOR informs that, today, the BetPlay 2022-II League Competition Board was held to discuss and make different decisions regarding the championship system that It will be played in the second semester and make different decisions regarding the championship system.”
This is how the second half of the championship will be played, taking into account that the Qatar World Cup will be held at the end of the year, so the national competitions must end earlier or take a break.
From the virtual meeting attended by the BetPlay League clubs, the following conclusions were reached:
– Start of competition July 10.
– End of the competition November 30.
– The BetPlay DIMAYOR II-2022 League system will have 20 dates in the All against all phase (includes classic date), Semifinal Quadrangular and Round-trip Final.
